These kits are perfect for anyone interested in growing your own delicious food! These extra-large grow kits have 6.5 lbs of certified organic mushroom mycelium in them, enough to grow 3+ lbs of mushrooms across multiple flushes. Just pull the circle off the back of the kit, mist it 2-3 times a day and you'll have your own crop of mushrooms in anywhere from 5-14 days!

All kits come with a misting bottle, humidity dome and detailed directions on the top of the box.

Hodgins Harvest favorite recipe for cooking your new home grown mushrooms:

  • Ingredients: 1/2 lb Hodgins Harvest mushrooms, 1-2 tbsp butter or olive oil, 2 tbsp white wine or sherry, sea salt.
  • Instructions: Heat butter or oil over medium heat. Slice the mushrooms or shred them apart with your hands into small pieces. Sprinkle lightly with salt and sauté for 10-20 minutes. Allow most of the moisture to cook out of the mushrooms until they’re brown and crispy around the edges. Add the white wine/sherry and cook until the added moisture evaporates. Enjoy!
About Hodgins Harvest :
Hodgins Harvest is a certified organic mushroom farm located in Rockland County, NY. They grow oyster, lion's mane, black poplar, chestnut, maitake & other specialty mushrooms for their local community, and produce mushroom extracts, powders and meal kits for the world over.
Why we 🤍 them:
We love Hodgins Harvest because of how easy (and satisfying) they make it to grow your own food! I always find that when I eat food or display things in my home that I’ve grown myself, I end up enjoying it tenfold. They also use biodegradable grow bags and plant-based plastic for the humidity domes, and donate all leftover mushrooms to local communities. Anything that can’t be eaten, is donated to local farms where they can be used as compost and help grow other nutritious food!
